    Way cool Dave,

How about a series of well-know pioneer drag racers and their various machines?
(Sonny Routt, Stan Dishong, Clem Johnson, …etc.)

Still lots of photos available on such guys.
    Just a thought.

nicker…You mentioned Sonny Routt. That brought back memories of the “good old days”. I had a Sonny Routt Tee shirt that said “JUGS BY ROUTT” which included having two beautiful (LARGE) breasts on it. I changed shirts on more than one occasion with any woman who wanted to try it on…Anyone remember this?

Beautiful artwork – looks like Joe “Knucklehead” Smith, from LA; who went on to run a single then double engine bikes with Shovel motors. He became known later as Joe “Grandaddy” Smith. If you want to see more early dragbikes purchase a great book – Motorcycle Drag Racing: A History – by John Stein.
