Our Heavy Duty magazine tour group rode down to the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum after Sturgis last summer and we were blown away by the variety of restored machines, both commonplace and rare. If you visit, allow a full day, ‘cos that is the least time you will need to even begin to drink it all in. Truly awesome!

I checked out the Barber Museum and Motorsport Park a couple of years ago. It is beautiful and impressive. Also a nice collection of Lotus cars there as well. Just fantastic really. Any motorcycle fan (all brands and styles well represented), should try to make it down to visit.

I don’t know George but I know his collection of Lotus cars and hundreds of motorcycles second only to the Guggenhein, maybe even surpassing it.

Guess they better add another floor to prep for all the E-bikes………. 🙂

Maybe they will put the E-bikes in the new expansion on the inside of the track with a bridge leading to it. It was supposed to break ground in 2012. I haven’t heard anything about it since.

Well deserved. I have always wanted to thank Mr Barber for sharing his passion with the motorcycle community. If you have never been to the Vintage Festival you can’t righteously call yourself a motorcycle enthusiast. It brings together motorcyclist from all walks of life. You will see one percenters chatting it up with millionaire collectors or motojournalists, or salt flat racers and chopper builders all because of one thing. Our love of all things two wheeled. Thank you for this incredible experience George Barber.
