Sturgis 3rd Annual Easyriders Old School Ride-In Chopper Show

I stopped counting the number of custom bike shows going on this year during the Black Hills Rally. No complaints from the spectators who can jump from places to places for full days of customization lessons, but some competitors will have to make choices because it seems that other interesting bike shows may be going on at the same time. Daytona Bike week had the same issue a few years ago.

Anyway, the 3rd Annual Easyriders/Biker/V-Twin magazines show will be held Wednesday August 11th downtown Sturgis at the Broken Spoke Saloon, 905 Lazelle Street.

So, ride your nasty lil’ oil-drippin’ scoot to the world-famous Saloon. No pre-registration, just sign up at the show. Sign-up time is from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Awards will be presented at 4:00 p.m. Custom-made trophies will go to: Best Knuckle, Best Panhead, Best Shovelhead, Best Evo, Best Sportster, Best Brit Bike, Best of Show (first, second and third place)

This show is a lot of fun to go to. For the record, ben Jordan built that silver panhead, and it is one of the nicest bikes I have ever seen! Good job Ben!

Very clean, but I’m not sure about those pipes to the left – gotta look at it some more.

I always have a good time at the Spoke and this show runs true to the original theme of the Broken Spoke. REAL motorcycles by REAL riders. See you all there!
